Here's a little mix I made a while back of some of my favorite stuff. Was gonna call it some sort of podcast, but then the logic was what do you get when you put together the words podcast and swag, a swagcast.

Tyler the Creator is 18, he likes fat girls and thinks the piano is nice. He's also part of the Odd Future collective, the nicest bit of hip-hop to grace this side of California and Los Angeles. OFWGKTA (Odd Future Wolf Gang Kill Them All) consists of a bunch of dudes who know how to rap (too lazy to list them all). I also just read that Mos Def went to one of their concerts, that shit is fucking tight. Anyways, Tyler the Creator is fucking dope, and this is my favorite album of his. BASTARD is great in all its entirety, and doesnt particularly remind me of any rapper. It has swag, and Tyler the Creator knows how to make some witty ass punchlines, as he he says "Fuck all you post Drake ass cliche jerkin' LA slaucin rappin fuck nigga ass hypebeast niggas".
Low Limit, one half of the Bay Area based future blap noise affiliated duo better known as Lazer Sword put down a forty minute mix for Brainfeeder. This mix is courtesy of Flylo, a testament to that future blap, visual 80s virtuo hyphy, and laid back chill vibe.
What do you get when you take Switzerland, a beatmaker, an MPC 4000, FL Studio, and lots and lots of vinyls? Bluntmosphere. Take this beat tape for a ride, its got some laid back tunes that you would listen to while pretty much doing anything. It reminds me alot of that J Rocc, Beat Junkiesesque kind of music. Very relaxing, with lots of funk and soul samples, making for a beat tape for your listening pleasure.
Digging through the archives of Andrew Meza's BTS Radio, one of the older mixes resurfaced and was displayed on the main page. After giving it a thorough listen, I have to say this is one of my favorite BTS mixes of all time. The Soul Sociedad Collective consists of four talented dj's: Ill Dubio, Ketepica, Lu-Fuki and Skymark, all of whom are very prominent and influential in the hip-hop community. Coming via Spain and Switzerland. Loop and crate diggers and vinyl junkies alike will notice many of the original samples used in this mix, some of which were sampled by artists such as Flying Lotus and J Dilla. This mix is one for the ears.
Letherette is the up and coming duo out of Wolverhampton, UK. The only proper way to explain the music they produce is to check out this phenomenal Brown Lounge Vol. 2 mix from Percussion Lab. As Praveen of Percussion Lab states:
"Their warm, tape enhanced beats are crafted from bits and pieces of the finest, melodic source material from music's golden genres, funk and soul. Their roughly chopped rythms are imbued with a personable, feel good vibe that is lacking in most modern music these days. Everyone from Madlib, MF Doom, Flying Lotus to Pete Rock comes to mind when listening to this mix."
Had to put this one up. The Escape Tape is lo-fi, grainy, cultured and hazy hip-hop at its finest. With S. Maharba as a fan, a feature on Andrew Meza's BTS Radio, and three albums under his belt, Aubert is ready to show the rest of California what San Francisco has been hiding. He currently has three very different and special albums he has released (in true nature) as full cassette downloads. Play this mix, and be ready to experience foggy, crackle hip-hop while roaming the hilly streets of San Francisco.
